Abstract:
The idea of numerical implicitization allows to treat all surfaces which can be described by collections of equations, especially the parametric ones, in a uniform way as implicit surfaces. So it suffices to have a marching method for the triangulation of implicit surfaces, which is introduced. The method produces even for sets of intersecting surface patches coherent nets of triangles.

Keywords: triangulation, marching method, numerical implicitization, parametric surface, implicit surface, offset surface, blend surface.
