The winter school 2015 "Stochastic Analysis of Spatially Extended Models" will be held at TU
Darmstadt, March 23 - 27, 2015. It is intended to be in the spirit of last year's winter school
"Spatial Models in Statistical Mechanics" held at TU Darmstadt, February 24 - 28, 2014.
Its purpose is to give young scientists, mainly PhD students and young postdocs, the
opportunity to learn from distinguished researchers about active fields of research in
probability theory and statistical physics.
The core of the school will consist of two mini courses.
The first one deals with branching Brownian motion and will be given by Zhan Shi (Université
Paris VI). The second one treats regularity structures and stochastic partial differential
equations and will be delivered by Hendrik Weber (University of Warwick).
Additionally, there will be accompanying lectures given by invited speakers.
