The Meeting

The purpose of the spring school is to give young scientists the opportunity to learn
from distinguished researchers about active fields of research in probability theory.
It is a continuation of the winter schools
"Spatial Models in Statistical Mechanics" held at TU Darmstadt, February 24 - 28, 2014, and
"Stochastic Analysis of Spatially Extended Models" held at TU Darmstadt, March 23 - 27, 2015.
There will be two mini courses. The first treats the combinatorics of Young tableaus
and applications to statistical physics, and will delivered by Neil O'Connell.
The second one deals with Liouville quantum gravity and the Gaussian free field,
and will be given by Nathanaël Berestycki.

Additionally, there will be accompanying lectures given by invited speakers.
